Alphonza, also known as "Al" is one of the founding members of this practice. Al's vision and passion to see businesses as well as individuals operate in excellence and in order from an accounting & taxation standpoint is what pushed him to launch A. Gibbs & Associates, LLC. Outside of the office, Al enjoys motivational speaking and empowering others to reach their desired level in life. When not at the office or in a speaking engagement, Al enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Andrea and their three wonderful children.

Andrea K. Gibbs, BS, PB, PTP
Partner and Director of Operations
Andrea, whom is also a founding member of the company enjoy making sure that all processes are followed and that all clients are not only satisfied, but are taken care of with what we like to call our "Ritz Carlton" type service. When Andrea is not behind the scenes making sure that our day-to-day operations are in tack, she is probably somewhere behind the camera. Outside of these things, Andrea enjoys spending quality time with Al and the kids, preferrably on the coast somewhere!

Chakisha has over eleven years of experience in preparing federal and state income tax returns. She obtained her accounting degree in 2009, graduating with a GPA of 3.9. Prior experiences also include accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting.

Lori Hatfield, BA
Tax Associate
Lori grew up in West VA where she went to college an obtained her degree in Elementary Education. One of her favorite jobs was working with special needs children during her time as an elementary school teacher. Lori is married to Richard and they are the proud parents of two wonderful daughters. Lori is excited about the opportunity to assist clients with their tax matters and it also allows her to teach clients and educate them on ways to reduce their tax liabilities. After residing in Florida, Lori and Richard are excited to be back in GA with their 4 awesome grandchildren. When she's not assisting clients, Lori enjoys working with the elderly at the Rockdale Senior Center.

Soraya Donald, MBA
Tax Accountant
Soraya lives in the Covington area with her husband and three children. While raising her family, she made the decision in 2005 to pursue her BBA in Accounting from the University of West Georgia. Continuing with the next chapter in her life, Soraya in 2010 completed her MBA in Human Resource Management from Ashford University. She has over 10 years experience, in the financial and insurance industry, working for one the largest insurance carriers in the US. Now she has turned her focus towards educating clients as a Professional Tax Associate.

Iffat Walker has over ten years of experience in the Accounting and Taxation Industry. She consults regularly with executives from a variety of fields in regards to their accounting and tax matters. Iffat is very active in the community and sits on various boards in the community. A native of St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands, she now lives with her husband and two sons in Conyers, GA. In her spare time, Iffat enjoys finding great deals, traveling, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Autumn, a native of New York bring over 10 years of accounting and taxation experience to the table when sitting in front of clients. An indepth knowledge of how to maximize client refunds and ensuring that clients pay the less tax possible. Autumn resides in Covington, GA with her husband and two wonderful kids. When she is not behind the computer assisting clients, Autumn and her family enjoying traveling.
